Balanced Church Growth

The primary element of a church is that it is a spiritual fellowship or supernatural organization that requires pastoring, consoling, nurturing, and spiritual growth.11 But, Brunner also points out that the church is an organizational fellowship or administrative organization that must be managed, administered, and united toward common and biblical goals.12 Brunner and others have retraced church history to demonstrate that when both of these natures are equally balanced, church growth occurs.
